The Foundry — Privacy
Who this is
The Foundry is a club at 1425 Folsom St, San Francisco, run by Folsom Foundry Music LLC. This page says what we keep about you when you use this site, sign up, buy a ticket or see one of our ads, and how to make us stop. Questions go to bryce@thefoundry.club.
The signup list
If you give us your email or phone number on this site, it goes on our list and we use it for show announcements, presales and the occasional reminder, by email and text. The list lives with Hive, the service that sends for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link; reply STOP to any text and it ends. We never sell the list or hand it to another promoter.
Tickets
Tickets are sold by Eventbrite, under Eventbrite's own privacy policy. We see what we need to run the night and settle with the artists: your name, your email, what you bought and when. We don't keep your card details; Eventbrite handles payment.
Visits to this site
We keep simple statistics about which pages are read and where visitors come from, so we know which shows people are looking at. There are no accounts on this site and nothing here identifies you by name.
The Meta pixel and our ads
This site and our Eventbrite pages carry a Meta pixel. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that a visit or a ticket purchase happened, so we can show our ads to people who've shown interest and see whether an ad actually sold tickets. Meta ties that to your Meta account under its own privacy policy; you can turn ad personalisation off in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. The numbers we see back are totals, never a list of who saw what.
The tool we run on Meta
We run a small internal tool, the Foundry Dashboard, that uses Meta's Marketing API to manage advertising on our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and ad account: it creates and pauses our campaigns and reads back how they did. It only touches accounts we own. It does not access anyone else's Facebook or Instagram account, does not collect personal data from Meta users, and shares nothing from Meta with anyone outside the people who run the club. If you've interacted with our Page or ads and want that cleared, Meta's own settings are the place; we hold nothing about you from Meta to delete.
Your choices, and deleting your info
Unsubscribe from any email, text STOP to end texts, or write to bryce@thefoundry.club and we'll take you off our list within 30 days and tell you when it's done. Ticket records stay with Eventbrite under their policy. We don't sell personal information, under California law or anywhere else.
